Welcome to an overview of the GDSC (Google Developer Student Clubs) leadership interview process. This process is designed to be comprehensive, evaluating not only technical skills but also leadership qualities.
Application Stage
To begin the journey, applicants submit an application for the GDSC lead position. Alongside the standard application, there's a unique component – a 40-second selfie video introduction. This unconventional touch aims to assess the applicant's ability to articulate thoughts concisely and present themselves effectively.
Aptitude Test
Upon a successful application, applicants receive an email inviting them to an aptitude test. This phase evaluates problem-solving skills, logical reasoning, and time management. The test, lasting 40 to 60 minutes, requires participants to keep their cameras and microphones on, adding an extra layer of challenge.
Final Interview Round
